About

I started my career in backend engineering in 2021, and I've been building services that need to be fast, reliable, and easy to change ever since. My main tools are Go, TypeScript, and Node.js, backed by a foundation in Java and Python from university.

Most of my work sits where application code meets data: PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server for relational workloads; MongoDB and Elasticsearch for documents and search; Redis for caching; and Kafka and RabbitMQ for moving events between services.

I'm a lifelong learner at heart. Lately that means cloud engineering on Google Cloud and AWS — running services on Kubernetes and looking for simpler ways to build and operate systems.
